How to make Brick Oven Pizza, breads and more...
Why cook on clay?
The Brick oven can be dated back to Pompeii and ancient Rome, although every ancient civilization had some form of a brick, or clay oven. It wasn't until Victorian England and the industrial revolution that someone thought to cook with a metal oven! However, after the rebuilding of Europe in the 1950's, the traditions of cooking on brick ovens were revitalized in many parts of Europe, in hopes of rediscovering traditional family recipes passed down for generations. The Pampered Chef Pizza Stone
